Webkinz are stuffed plush animals with tags attached that have a unique computer code.You take your password to the Webkinz web page and create an account. Codes are good for one year.

The account includes a small computer animated version of the stuffed animal,users are allowed to print a certificate of adoption, and to play in Webkinz World. In Webkinz World, the account owner can feed his or her pet, provide them with furniture and toys, earn Webkinz dollars by playing games and doing math, and much more.

Webkinz are the hottest thing in the country. In 2006 these stuffed animals were only available in a few stores.Even florist carried them.By the holiday season this fad had gone worldwide and by February different Webkinz were out of stock in stores.

One reason why Webkinz are so popular has to do with the computer component.
