The online clothing store has revolutionized the way that people shop. Gone are the days when you had to trudge through all kinds of weather to get that great shirt you saw in a catalogue. These days, the Internet provides us with all kinds of clothing, from accessories to jackets to everything in between. Online clothing stores are like having a retailer right at the tip of your fingers, and you can go shop anytime you want. People can even window shop online. The online clothing stores are remarkably similar to real stores. They often offer discounts, sales, coupons, deals, and they even have the virtual checkout. Of course, there are never any lines at these checkouts. You even still get your very own shopping cart. From Old Navy to Eddie Bauer to Ambiguous, designer companies all over the world have websites that make their clothing super available to shoppers in their pajamas everywhere. These websites are usually called webstores, or e stores. The setup for these stores can be as simple as a listing of items, prices, and shipping information displayed. Shop setups also can be elegant, full of pictures, busy, and be loaded with tons of information about the products and/or the company that is making the clothing. Clothing stores, whether they be the brick and mortar stores or the online e stores, are always there to deliver to consumers exactly what they want. E stores are convenient, easy, and the stores are always open so you never have to worry about the doors closing 10 minutes before you get there. The sales on e stores are just as good as the regular stores sales, and many times, the e stores have prices that are lower than the stores in the malls because they want to compensate for the shipping you will have to pay. Many times the e stores will also offer free shipping at special shopping times, like holidays, saving you even more money. Brick and mortar clothing stores have the advantage over e stores that the buyer can actually see the clothes, not just computer images of the clothes. They can see how the shirt will fit, whether it will be too big or too small, and of course, the mall shops have the dressing rooms for a reason. That is probably the biggest downfall with online clothing stores. There is no way for you to be able to try on the clothes before you buy them. This, of course, brings up the very important point that you really need to keep a sharp eye out when it comes to online sizing. Since, unlike with mall retailers, you cannot try clothes on, look for sizing charts on the websites to help you in using your imagination to try things on. Although you have the ability to try things on for size before you wear them at a malls store, there are some disadvantages to shopping offline. Of course, the time it takes to find things that you are looking for can add up. Unlike online clothing stores, there are no places to just type in what you are looking for. It takes time to find what you need; there is no computer to just bring up a page full of shirts. Also, the gas money it takes is becoming more and more of an expense. You can only shop when the stores doors are open, which isnt always convenient. So dont get out there stay home, in your pajamas, and shop away for online clothing!
