Boxing is always the most physically challenged sports item. The boxer requires both upper and lower body strength. The boxer must train his mind to be as tough as his body. Boxing is not only about being physically fit. An equally important aspect of fighting game is having mental fortitude to succeed inside the ring. You must not only be strong physically, but mentally also. Boxing is not like other sports event where you can look at referee to call time out. You just have to fight until the bell rings. You only have option to quit, but the real fighter will never do that. They will face all the consequences inside the ring. Whether you are hurt or injured you are simply forced to fight. Mental discipline is very important for all boxers. The mind is powerful tool that some people never learn to control. All boxers understand the importance of running, their diet and training. Why then some fighters are in shape while others are only mediocre? Why do some fighters have difficulties in making weight, while other weigh-in perfectly every time? The answer lies within the mental discipline of the fighter. Boxing is always different from other sports, as many of the decision must be made by you. Because your coach is not there at 5:30 in the morning, reminding you to wake up and hit the roads. It’s easy to hit the snooze button on your alarm and drift back to dream. But what makes you decide to run is what that comes from deep inside your heart. So mental strength and positive attitude are very important to succeed in this field. No one will make decision for us to train. The decision is to be made at the individual level. The best trainers in the world are only as good as the student they train. The trainer can only provide you the motivation and advice, but ultimately the decision will rests in the hands of fighter. Once you decide in your heart that you want to succeed in the ring, your mind will take over it. Then you begin to make boxing as your most important part of your life. And you start eating, sleeping and dreaming boxing to the best. Those who are strong mentally and physically can only succeed in this sport. There will be loads of fear and doubts, but with dedicated training and experience you can overcome it easily.
