Getting hold of copies of Illinois arrest records is very easy to do and anyone who wants to has the right to be able to get access to them. Yet even though the State has seen a reduction in the number of arrests being made for it overall and recorded between 1990 and 2002 some of its counties have seen increases. There are 102 counties which make up the State of Illinois and of these 43 showed a sizeable increase in their arrest rate records. Whereas 17 showed a notable reduction and the other 42 counties that make up the State of Illinois showed no difference whatsoever. When you take a closer look at the State of Illinois public arrest records for the period from 1995 to 2002 you will be amazed to see that the number of counties where increases have occurred has fallen from 43 to 8. Of these eight, seven of the counties where there have been increases in the arrests made are rural ones.
