Using a system that imitates a search engine such as Google or Yahoo, the idea is to begin to type a destination of interest into the search box and just like the mentioned search engines above, a list of results is displayed with the aim of not only matching your destination but also giving you other similar options and choices. Currently more than 25 countries are listed and this figure is increasing regularly. You can search for a country of your choice or even a more specific search for a local area, for example, South or North. As with the previous search you are given a results list that closely match your searches. It seems to be a pretty versatile system after playing around with it for a while.Keying in "North" yielded some of the following results, North Wales, North Carolina, Northern Cyprus and Northampton. A more simplified search of, for example, Spain and a click of the search button later and you are presented with a list of properties (holiday homes, holiday villas) in that particular country. The properties appear to be listed randomly to enable each villa or holiday home to be displayed at the top of the listing. All properties, once clicked on reveal a list of features including amenities and prices along with photographs of the property and location. The site advertises private holiday home accommodation direct from the owner via the website. It is a classic transaction website, bringing together holidaymaker and holiday home owner. Originally launched in 2007, the site grew quickly and within months had thousands of properties listed. Having spent some time playing with this system, this villa rental website does appear very user friendly. It's hard to believe nowadays but many people habve yet to become internet savvy, yet websites like this make it very simple for all people to use. Property owners can be contacted by phone or email directly, allowing for arrangements to be made quickly and hopefully hassle free.
