Your thoughts, emotions and physical activities are all also 'energy'. Whether you are thinking, talking, dancing, cleaning the house, playing golf or just about anything else the way that you make use of your energy is highly relevant to your success. Just as manufacturer's refine their systems to use as little energy as possible and to remove as much 'hard work' as possible, so too can you do the same in your own mind and life. In this way you can maximise the effect of every moment that you are alive and free up your mental and other energies to create more of the type of life you prefer. For example, a person who wishes to bake a cake might think/believe that "I am not very good at baking cakes" while at the same time thinking/desiring that they "Really want to bake a great cake". Rather than becoming depressed that they cannot possibly bake a great cake and rather than simply baking a cake which may or may not prove to be great by their standards, that person has another choice. Before entering into any action or situation which you have doubts about or '2nd thoughts' allow yourself to fully focus on WHY you are doubting yourself. You will always eventually discover a belief which limits your thought/creative flow/process and which you can actually CHANGE! Changing such a limiting belief to one which is more representative of your preference is an act of loving kindness to yourself which will not only improve your intended action but also feels good in and of itself. So we could examine the belief that 'I am not very good at baking cakes' and real-eyes that we only believe this to be the case because we have baked cakes before which were not good by our own comparisons to other cakes. Now that we know that our ability to bake cakes depends to some extent on our belief in our own ability we can change the belief to something more supporting, such as 'I always bake the perfect cake for me in the current moment' and perhaps add 'My ability to perform as I prefer in any activity is based in my own belief in myself'! So rather than spend hundreds on baking classes, guru chefs or even therapists/doctors (using a lot of energy = inefficient), we can 'do more with less' by simply changing our own minds first. What could be simpler? Once you successfully change your own perception of your abilities you will 'get more and do less'. You will 'get more of what you prefer' and you will do less thinking, battling and struggling. Apply this as much as you like! Injoy!
