Good news for fans of Milo Ventimiglia. They wouldn’t have to worry so much anymore about missing their Heroes star anymore. Even if the series has wrapped up, Ventimiglia has remained busy. The actor who plays Peter Petrelli has two movies up in his sleeves, Armored and Pathology. Ventimiglia was just signed into contract on Armored. Written by James V. Simpson, Armored is a drama/thriller movie about a young armored car guard who is persuaded by his veteran buddies to steal a truck containing $10 million. Shot on location in Los Angeles , it brings to screen the team-up of highly acclaimed director Nimrod Antal (Vacancy) and producer Sam Raimi (Spider-Man, For the Love of Game, a Simple Plan). Joining Ventimiglia in the cast are equally notable actors namely Matt Dilon (There’s Something About Mary), Laurence Fishburne (The Matrix), Jean Reno (Ronin), Skeet Ulrich (As Good as It Gets), Columbus Short (Save the Last Dance 2), Fred Ward ( Sweet Home Alabama ), Andre Kinney (NYPD Blue) and Glenn Taranto (The New Addams Family). It is currently in production and is scheduled to be released in 2009. Ventimiglia has also just completed shooting Pathology, where he stars as Dr. Ted Gray. Pathology is a crime/horror/thriller about a group of medical students concocting a deadly game and daring each other to carry out the perfect murder. The film is written by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor and directed by Marc Schoelermann. Pathology also stars Alyssa Milano (Charmed), Michael Weston (The Dukes of Hazard), Lauren Lee Smith (The L Word), Dan Callahan (The Mothman Prophecies), Johnny Whitworth (Can’t Hardly Wait), and Mei Melançon (Rush Hour 2). The film opens on February 2008.
